Mead Johnson settles china bribery probe with US prosecutors

( July 28, 2015, 17:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Leading nutrition company Mead Johnson has agreed to pay $12 million in disgorgement and prejudgment interest, to resolve FCPA charges brought against them by the Securities Exchange Commission. The SEC found that from 2008 to 2013, its Chinese subsidiary had made improper payments to workers at state-owned hospitals in China to recommend its child nutrition products to expectant and new mothers.
