Oracle files appeal with Federal Circuit of verdict in Android copyright case against Google

( October 26, 2016, 21:37 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: As expected, Oracle has filed an appeal with the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit of a jury verdict that Google did not infringe its copyright by incorporating elements of the Java software language into the Android mobile operating system. Oracle said in a court filing that its appeal will focus on US District Judge William Alsup's denial in September of Oracle’s motion for judgment as a matter of law and its motion for a new trial. Please see attached notice of appeal....
