Alibaba should be listed as a notorious market: apparel industry groups

( October 26, 2016, 19:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Alibaba, a Chinese online merchant, should be listed as a "notorious market" because it has failed to remove counterfeit items from its Web sites, particularly the Taabao site, the American Apparel and Footwear Association said in a statement and letter to the US Trade Representative. The letter was co-signed by 17 other organizations which included labor, an Asian coalition against counterfeiting and jewelry groups.Statement follows. Please see attached letter....
