Car-rental companies hit by antitrust raids in Italy

( July 29, 2015, 08:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Italian Competition Authority, or AGCM, has started an investigation into eight long-term car rental services companies including EuropCar and Hertz, to see whether they broke EU cartel rules by exchanging sensitive data. Industry group Associazione Nazionale Industria dell’Autonoleggio e Servizi Automobilistici is also under investigation.
