Detonations damaged Nord Stream pipelines, Swedish Security Service says

( October 6, 2022, 16:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Swedish Security Service, in its investigation of damage to the Nord Stream gas pipelines, has said there were detonations near the infrastructure. “The crime scene investigation has shown that there have been detonations near Nord Stream 1 and 2, within the Swedish economic zone, resulting in extensive damage to the gas pipelines.” the security service said. It also said certain seizures were made during the investigation of the site, and that these materials will be now processed and analyzed. Suspicions of "gross sabotage" have been strengthened by the investigation, the security service said.Press release follows....
