Dutch companies urge lawmakers to ratify CETA trade deal

( November 26, 2019, 15:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Dutch business association Evofenedex, which represents about 15,000 companies, has called on the country's House of Representatives to ratify the EU-Canada trade deal, or CETA. The petition has been also supported by MKB Nederland, an association that represents the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises. CETA’s ratification is hanging in the balance in Dutch parliament after the Social Democrats of PvdA and the Greens of GroenLinks withdrew their support, mainly because of concerns over agriculture and rules to settle investor-to-state disputes.Statement in Dutch follows....
