Extended preferential tariffs to Greece’s Alouminium was new state aid, top EU court says

( October 26, 2016, 09:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Preferential tariffs granted by Greek public electricity company DEI to metals producer Alouminium, and which were extended past a validity period, should be classified as new aid, judges at the EU’s Court of Justice have said. They rejected a finding by the General Court, in which judges annulled a European Commission decision calling for a claw-back of the money, and have referred the case back to the lower court for further consideration.Full judgment attached....
