EE to reintroduce Europe mobile roaming charges

( June 24, 2021, 15:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: UK mobile operator EE will charge new and upgrading customers extra to use their mobile phones in Europe from January 2022, the BT-owned company said in a statement today. EE said it will charge customers who join from July 7 a new flat fee of 2 pounds per day when they visit 47 European countries from January, which will allow them to use their domestic plan's data, minutes and texts allowance. This move "will support investment into our UK-based customer service and our leading UK network,” EE said.Statement follows....
