Google pushed in US litigation to provide data it collected from Chrome plaintiffs

( June 24, 2021, 12:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plaintiffs suing Google in federal court in California over its alleged illegal collection of data of Chrome users who are not synced with their Google accounts have asked a federal judge to compel the Internet giant to turn over data it collected from the Chrome browsers of the plaintiffs in the case. "Google's restrictions are unreasonable," the plaintiffs told US District Judge Lucy Koh in a court filing. "It cannot cherry-pick relevant subsets of discovery while omitting others, and it cannot shirk its discovery obligations by shifting the burden to Plaintiffs to identify, in the first instance, information that is known only to Google."See attached document....
