( July 27, 2015, 22:25 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Sander Levin expressed concern with the Department of State’s upgrade of Malaysia in its 2015 Trafficking in Persons Report and the effects it will have on the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement. “Malaysia’s human trafficking problem — which is a forced labor problem — puts it in direct violation of these provisions in the TPP agreement.
