Apple argues that GBT has previously argued that having its common packet channel patents left out of the CDMA standard in favor of high speed uplink packet access rendered GBT’s patent portfolio valueless. Apple says that GBT is now employing a conflicting argument by saying the patent in question is an essential part of HSPU and Apple argues that the patent is actually invalid. See document below. ...
