Braskem says price of product didn't generate losses for Petrobras

( July 27, 2015, 14:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Chemical company Braskem said that the price of nafta — a product used to make plastic — that it bought from Petróleo Brasileiro was in line with the oil giant's production costs. Public prosecutors submitted a complaint against construction firm Odebrecht saying that a nafta contract between Braskem and Petrobras generated losses for Petrobras because the prices paid by Braskem were too low. Braskem is held by both Petrobras and Odebrecht.Statement follows in full....
