Polish support for Getin Noble Bank resolution plan wins EU approval

( October 3, 2022, 08:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Several Polish support measures for the resolution of Getin Noble Bank have won European Commission state aid approval. Under the plan, the stricken bank's main assets and liabilities, except for equity and subordinated debt, will be shifted to a newly created bridge bank, to ensure that normal banking operations can continue. Bankowy Fundusz Gwarancyjny, the national resolution authority, will ensure that the bridge bank is properly capitalized and has access to enough liquidity, the commission said.Statement follows. ...
