Hong Kong competition regulator highlights enforcement achievements in annual report

( November 20, 2019, 09:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Hong Kong’s Competition Commission received and processed 709 enforcement contacts and conducted initial assessments or investigations of 28 cases in the year of 2018/19, the commission said in an annual report published today. In the year, the regulator also filed a case before the Competition Tribunal, in which it pursued liability of individuals for the first time. Additionally, the commission published its decision relating to exclusions and exemptions concerning the Code of Banking Practice, according to the report.The report is attached....
