Maersk, MSC ask Brazil's CADE to close antitrust probe into container shipping market

Moller-Maersk and Switzerland-based shipping firm Mediterranean Shipping Company have asked the Brazilian competition authority to close an antitrust probe into alleged abuse of their dominant position in the container shipping market. Maersk and MSC also said the allegations brought by the Brazilian Association of Port Terminals have private interests, and they are not within the competition scope analyzed by the antitrust agency.Danish integrated logistics company A.P.
