Volvo Danmark-Titan Lastvogne deal gets Danish merger approval

( September 28, 2022, 16:11 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Volvo Danmark has received merger approval for its acquisition of truck dealership Titan Lastvogne, the Danish Competition Authority has said. Titan Lastvogne sells and repairs Volvo and Renault trucks. Although the merger deal strengthens Volvo's position as a dealer and repairer of trucks, the authority cleared it because the company would gain a stronger position in the market anyway. Titan Lastvogne stood to lose its authorization under Volvo Danmark, the watchdog said.Press release follows....
