US FCC engages in new rulemaking to support secure, resilient 5G supply chain

( June 17, 2021, 15:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Federal Communications Commission is pursuing a proactive, three-pronged strategy to build a more secure and resilient communications supply chain for 5G networks, according to acting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel. Rosenworcel said the agency is taking direct action to exclude untrusted equipment and vendors from communications networks both at home and abroad and is working to speed the way for trustworthy innovation.
