Korea Fair Trade Commission fines 11 construction companies for big rigging

( July 22, 2015, 06:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Korea Fair Trade Commission issued correction orders and fined 11 environmental facility construction companies a total of 3.47 billion won ($3.01 million) for bid rigging at several environmental construction projects. Samho, Kolon WE, Byucksan Engineering, Hyosung Engineering and seven other firms from June to December 2010 colluded to determine the winner of various environmental projects for the construction and maintenance of sewage systems and a food disposal and biogas facility at public biddings.The regulator's statement, in Korean, is attached....
