The Information Commissioner’s Office said today that TikTok may have allowed as many as 1.4 million UK children under 13 to use its platform in 2020, in breach of its own terms of service.TikTok has been fined 12.7 million pounds ($16 million) in the UK for breaching data protection laws, with the regulator focusing on its underage users but dropping provisional findings about the video platform’s use of sensitive data....
