​Taiwan antitrust regulator approves Asia Pacific Telecom, Ambit merger, investigates failure to notify merger

Ambit mainly provides 4G mobile broadband telecommunication services. The commission said the transaction won’t change the structure or the competitive landscape in the market for mobile telecommunication services. The regulator added it has opened an investigation into the alleged failure by Asia Pacific to notify the Taiwan FTC of its use of the networks of Taiwan Mobile to provide services.The statement follows:...
