( December 2, 2011, 22:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The plaintiffs in four cases against Visa and MasterCard involving ATM fees have submitted a joint response to a minute order to consolidate the cases. The plaintiffs all agree that coordinated discovery would be beneficial, but disagree about combining the cases at trial. The plaintiffs support consolidation of the Genese and Bartron cases, involving consumers who paid fees at ATMs operated by the banks. They oppose consolidating the National ATM Council case, involving non-bank ATM operators, and the Stoumbos case, which involves consumers who paid fees at independently owned ATMs.See document below....
