Globus Medical pulled, refiled FTC premerger notification paperwork for NuVasive acquisition, US SEC filing says

( April 3, 2023, 21:46 GMT | Official Statement) -- Medical device manufacturer Globus Medical pulled and refiled its premerger notification form for its purchase of spine device maker NuVasive with the US Federal Trade Commission on Friday, according to a filing NuVasive submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Globus Medical's pull-and-refile triggered the onset of a new 30-day waiting period for its deal with NuVasive, which will conclude after May 3.* The merging parties "continue to expect that the proposed transaction will close in the middle of 2023," according to NuVasive's SEC filing. *Corrected April 4, 2023, at 19:10 GMT; corrects the conclusion date for the 30-day waiting period.See SEC filing excerpt below....
