Italian competition authority: AGCM opens formal antitrust proceedings against Alitalia-Cai

( December 2, 2011, 11:53 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Italian competition authority, Autorità Garante della Concorrenza, has started an investigation into the effects on the air-transport market following the merger between airlines Alitalia and Cai. The probe focuses on alleged dominant positions on the Rome Fiumicino-Milan Linate, and 17 other air routes.
