La Santrade fined EUR2,000 in Romania for GDPR breaches

( June 16, 2021, 15:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Romanian retailer La Santrade has been fined 2,000 euros (around $2,400) by the national privacy regulator for breaching the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. According to Article 83.5(e) of the GDPR, the company had failed to provide the watchdog with necessary information as part of its investigation, prompted by a complaint, the regulator said today. The authority also issued a warning to La Santrade for failing to comply with data subjects' rights with respect to a request for deletion of personal data.Statement follows (in Romanian)....
