Texas Medical Board drops appeal in Teladoc case

( October 17, 2016, 19:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Texas Medical Board has dropped its appeal of a lower court order allowing an antitrust case filed by online medical provider Teladoc to proceed. No reason was given for the dismissal, but Teladoc said in a statement included in the court filing that the Board said the decision was "purely strategic." Teladoc said there are "serious questions about the motivation behind the appeal and the justification for the decision to withdraw the appeal."See document below....
