According to a report submitted by the watchdog to Park, the average time taken to deal with a cartel case was 35 months in 2016. It was 20 months in 2010 and 27 months in 2014. As a general rule, the commission handles most collusion cases within 13 months, a KFTC source said. But Park said the period for data processing was not counted as part of the duration and that the antitrust agency was abusing that time to make progress slower. ...
