Japan's NTT DoCoMo, KDDI, SoftBank told to review relations with distributors in JFTC survey

In the mobile phone market survey published today, the Japan Fair Trade Commission said the carriers put some restrictions on the sales agents’ device prices, which can be seen as resale price maintenance, a violation of the Antimonopoly Act. The watchdog called for the carriers to refrain from the practice and to be careful not to exploit their sales agents.
