( June 26, 2024, 14:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: French drugmaker Cooper Consumer Health has obtained conditional EU approval for its bid to buy the over-the-counter drug business of US rival Viatris. Approval is conditional on Cooper divesting the rights to its infant laxative medicine Bebegel in Portugal and, at the option of the purchaser, in France too. Additionally, Cooper must divest the rights to its earwax removal product Otowaxol in Germany and, at the option of the purchaser, in Ireland too.Statement follows....
