China unveils shortened version of unified negative list for market access

( December 18, 2020, 06:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The 2020 version of China’s unified negative list for market access has been published jointly by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce, which lists sectors that market players are prohibited from entering or need administrative approval to access. The newly revised list, which is to be applied on a national basis, has been shortened to 123 sectors that are either prohibited or restricted, compared with 131 sectors on the 2019 list.
