Facebook accuses plaintiffs of 'simply false' claims in request for sanctions in US app developer privacy case

( September 15, 2022, 21:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Facebook told a federal judge in San Francisco that plaintiffs have presented him with a false narrative in seeking sanctions for the company's alleged litigation misconduct. "Plaintiffs’ motion is based on accusations of disobeying orders and making frivolous legal arguments, and a mechanical repetition of buzzwords like 'foot-dragging' and 'stonewalling,' none of which is supported by the record," Facebook told US District Judge Vince Chhabria in a court filing unsealed by the judge. "In fact, the record shows that Facebook has complied with all orders and participated in good faith in dispute-resolution processes that were agreed upon by the parties and ordered by this Court."See attached document....
