( February 27, 2018, 08:24 GMT | Insight) -- The Korea Fair Trade Commission has launched an investigation of AmorePacific Corp, the country’s largest cosmetics conglomerate, over suspected illegal inter-affiliate trading, The Bell reports.The Korea Fair Trade Commission has launched an investigation of AmorePacific Corp, the country’s largest cosmetics conglomerate, over suspected illegal inter-affiliate trading, The Bell reports. The regulator visited the head office of the group and six group affiliates including Innisfree and Pacific Package in an ex-officio investigation. The move came after the KFTC learned that inter-affiliate trading made up about 75 percent of the entire transactions in the cosmetics business. The KFTC is looking into whether prices of products traded among affiliates differed by more than 7 percent compared with those of non-affiliates. It is also looking at whether the value of inter-affiliate trading was more than 5 billion won ($4.7 million)....
