Directors Guild files claim in 1MDB-related 'Wolf of Wall Street' forfeiture case

( October 7, 2016, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Directors Guild has filed a claim in the US Justice Department's forfeiture action against assets of "The Wolf of Wall Street" movie. The Guild said that its agreement with Red Granite Pictures, the producer of the film, included ongoing residual payments from future earnings of the film, including contributions to the Guild's pension fund. "The Wolf of Wall Street" was funded with money looted from the Malaysian development fund 1MDB according to allegations of the forfeiture action.Please see attached claim....
