Brookdale Senior Living, Emeritus Senior Living announce expiration of antitrust waiting period

( April 17, 2014, 20:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Senior living communities operator Brookdale Senior Living and fellow NYSE-listed assisted living provider Emeritus announced Thursday that they have received US antitrust clearance for their planned $2.8 billion merger. The initial antitrust waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act expired without a request for more information from regulators.
