Thomson Consumer Electronics loses bid for summary judgment in CRT case

( October 6, 2016, 23:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Thomson Consumer Electronics' motion for summary judgment in a price-fixing lawsuit over cathode ray tubes was denied by US District Judge Jon Tigar. The litigation includes two separate but related CRT products, display tubes and picture tubes, and Thomson is contesting liability for an alleged display tube conspiracy, but not an alleged color tube conspiracy. Tigar, however, ruled that the plaintiffs have presented enough evidence of an "all CRT" conspiracy for the case to go forward.See attached order....
