CADE's legal team recommends agency investigators analyze settlement documents in TV-tube cartel probe

( February 22, 2018, 20:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The legal team of the Brazilian competition authority has recommended that the agency's investigatory unit, the Superintendence, analyze documents from a settlement agreement signed with Technicolor and Chunghwa in a global color picture tube cartel probe to decide whether to open a formal probe of companies and individuals not yet under investigation in Brazil. In the companies' settlement agreements, companies and individuals not under investigation are shown to have participated in the cartel.
