Polish Competition Authority: Supreme Court upholds PLN11mln fine against TP

( March 18, 2010, 15:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Poland's Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal by telecoms operator Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) against a previous court judgment that upheld a 11 million zloty (around 2.8 million euros) fine imposed for abuse of dominant position in the market for broadband internet access. In 2006 the Polish competition authority, UOKiK, found that TP's practice to bundle broadband internet access with analogue telephone services infringed competition law.
