Austrian Competition Authority: BWB asks cartel court to fine more than 40 logistics companies

( March 18, 2010, 15:49 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Austrian competition authority, BWB, has asked the national Cartel Court to impose fines on more than 40 logistics companies for price-fixing and customer allocation in the market for groupage freight transportation as well as information sharing in the rail freight forwarding sector. The regulator has also objected to other concerted practices regarding tariffs and toll fees.
