South Korea regulator fines 11 online retailers for unfair consumer policies

( July 8, 2015, 15:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: South Korea’s competition regulator has fined 11 domestic companies that provide online products and services 33 million won ($29,000) for unfair consumer policies. The companies made it difficult for consumers to cancel services, and for them to obtain refunds by unfairly adding extra conditions and charges, the Korea Fair Trade Commission said in a statement. The companies fined were Tongtang Networks, London Girl, Brand Mania, BNL, Vium, ISE Commerce, Intercommerce Korea, Topaz, Poombuy, HanToHan, and Herbincumus.The statement is attached....
