Five companies, four individuals to be notified of inclusion in Brazilian cartel probe involving airports

( September 12, 2022, 14:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Five companies, including Ansett Tecnologia e Engenharia and Construtora Gautama, and four individuals will be notified of their inclusion in a bid-rigging cartel probe into expansion projects at airports operated by Infraero, according to a statement. The Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, said it could not locate them, so it chose an alternate method to notify them. The notification will be featured on CADE's website and in national wide-circulation newspapers. Other companies involved in the probe include Construtural Engenharia e Construções, Estacon Engenharia, and Gutierrez Empreendimentos e Participações.
