Continental Automotive files reply in support of reviving antitrust claims over patents against Avanci, Nokia, others

( June 1, 2021, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Continental Automotive Systems told a US appeals court that Avanci, Nokia, Conversant, Sharp and Optis are attempting to sidestep its arguments for bringing back a case over their licensing of standard-essential patents. “While Continental explains why the district court’s Rule 12(b)(6) dismissal must be reversed based on facts alleged in and reasonable inferences drawn from its complaint, defendants construct a fictional alternative story and attack that instead. Defendants do this by ignoring or unreasonably limiting Continental’s complaint, cobbling together ‘facts’ and purported findings from outside the pleadings and at times misleadingly attributing them to Continental, and otherwise insisting on their version of events,” it said.See document below. ...
