Mayfield Athletics says equipment committee, helmet manufacturers can't dodge amended antitrust claims

( December 11, 2020, 22:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Mayfield Athletics filed opposition to the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment and three companies’ motions to dismiss claims that they conspired to exclude aftermarket or add-on products from the market for football safety equipment and accessories. It said its amended complaint abounds with factual allegations more than sufficient to survive a motion to dismiss. “Defendants distort, cherry-pick or outright ignore these factual allegations in a weak attempt to buttress their motion.
