Serco Geografix agrees UK's latest deferred prosecution agreement with SFO

( July 3, 2019, 07:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Serco Geografix, a unit of Serco Group, has agreed the UK's fifth deferred prosecution agreement with the Serious Fraud Office, and will pay 19.2 million pounds ($24.2 million) after taking responsibility for fraud and false accounting. Serco Geografix has agreed to cooperate with the SFO and to strengthen its compliance processes. The company was found to have "deliberately misled" the UK's Ministry of Justice over the electronic monitoring of prisoners. The SFO will seek final court approval of the DPA at a London court tomorrow.Statement follows....
