Portuguese Competition Authority: National merger control regime not applicable to acquisition of Labeljet by Domino

( June 9, 2009, 14:53 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Portuguese competition authority has concluded that the acquisition of sole control over Labeljet by printing specialist Domino is not covered by the country's national merger control regime. Therefore, no prior notification to the authority was required. The transaction, however, had been notified on 28 April.
