​China Consumers’ Association advocates use of public interest litigation in consumer protection

The Shanghai Consumer Council brought a lawsuit earlier this month against Tianjin Samsung Telecom Technology and OPPO Electronics, which allegedly harmed consumer rights by preinstalling mobile applications that can’t be removed without informing consumers in advance.
