Indonesia delays deadline to enforce rules on online-based taxi services by six months

Transport Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said that implementation of the rules, which were to come into force on Oct. 1, would be delayed for six months. He added that he had issued a circular letter regarding the postponement. He said the decision was made to provide more time for such services to make their drivers aware about government requirements stipulated by regulation No. 32 of 2016 on online taxi services....
