Sony Pictures Entertainment to buy Crunchyroll operator from AT&T for $1.175 billion

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals, the statement said. Sony Pictures Entertainment will buy the US telecom giant's content business through Sony group’s joint venture, Funimation Global Group.
