The economics department of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, estimated CADE's actions in 2022 resulted in benefits of around 12.46 billion reais ($2.37 billion), which came from the agency's decisions in merger, cartel and unilateral conduct cases. Published annually, the study is based on recommendations from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.CADE press release and DEE study follow in Portuguese....
