EC Consultation: Consultation on the review of the communication on short term export credit insurance

The commission is concerned that member-state official credit rating agencies may enjoy certain financial advantages granted by the states, and that this may distort competition in relation to private insurers. The purpose of the consultation is to invite member states and stakeholders to provide feedback on the application of state aid rules to short-term export-credit insurance, with a view to determining whether the guidance (which is due to expire end of 2012) is appropriate.Read the consultation below....
