Osisko Mining, Yamana Gold announce partnership

( April 1, 2014, 23:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Toronto Stock Exchange-listed precious-metals mining company Osisko Mining announced that NYSE-listed Canadian gold producer Yamana Gold has agreed to acquire a 50 percent interest in Osisko's mining and exploration assets for C$930 million (US$844 million). The deal is expected to close by May 30. Osisko Mining's board of directors has recommended its shareholders reject a rival Goldcorp proposal.Statement follows in full....
