Eurotunnel issues update on MyFerryLink sale process

( June 24, 2015, 15:48 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Groupe Eurotunnel has issued an update on its decision to sell its maritime business, MyFerryLink, following a 2013 decision by the UK regulator that prohibited its acquisition of three ferries from SeaFrance. Eurotunnel said it has an offer from Danish rival DFDS and that it has signed a rental agreement with it for the Berlioz and Rodin vessels, starting on July 2. Eurotunnel added that the ships can be sold to DFDS on Eurotunnel’s initiative once an inalienability clause is lifted — or at the latest, in mid-2017.Full statement follows:...
